An amazing selection of games and puzzles including handmade carrom boards.
Compendia traditional games and puzzles belongs to the Toogood family. They have one shop, in Greenwich Market, London, UK and they also sell their games online. The shop was eleven years old in October last year and the website will be just four in August.
About twelve years ago Rob was sitting round after a lovely dinner and said "I know what we should do, we should open a games shop. We love games." And so they did...
There is a wide range of board games, jigsaw puzzles, playing cards, dominoes from traditional to the games that are difficult to get hold of like Skipbo, Set, Mexican Train dominoes, and Phase 10 cards from America and the Japanese board game Go.
You can also find family favourites such as tri-ominos and traditional British games including the cricket dice game Owzthat, shut the Box and Shove Ha'penny.
